As a unique boutique tax planning CPA firm, we are always looking for outstanding people; especially those who want to focus on tax consulting without the heavy compliance work found in a typical CPA practice.

Immediately upon joining Cadesky Tax you will find yourself immersed in a “tax only” environment where you will often work with a partner one on one. Your work will be largely client facing and planning focused. Our tax planning work is steady year round. This means we do not require excessive overtime in tax season (although we do have some compliance work and March/April are typically busy months).

We recognize that work-life balance is important. Without a brutal tax season crunch, and our relaxed Friday work culture and half days every Friday in July and August, we have a balanced work-life that is less stressful than what you may be used to. We also provide a competitive benefits program and a flexible work approach.

We take training very seriously. It begins immediately. There is first and foremost our on-the-job training, every day learning from each client situation. We hold regular training meetings, special seminars, a lecture course for CPAs on tax topics, and a 3 day annual conference with senior tax practitioners from across Canada (for managers and other senior team members). We encourage learning at all levels. You may enroll in one of several learning programs, such as the STEP diploma course or further CPA In-Depth tax courses. External training options can be tailored to your past experience, individual interests and career plan.

We encourage participation in professional activities. Many of our professionals are tutors in the CPA In-Depth Tax program and we support professional organizations, such as CPA Canada, CTF and STEP, by speaking at and attending conferences as well as volunteering on committees within the organizations.Three of our partners, have been awarded the FCPA designation. Some of our partners have been Governors of the CTF, two have been Chair of STEP Canada and one has been STEP Worldwide Chair. This kind of involvement with professional organizations is encouraged at all levels, with some team members having helped co-ordinate the CTF Young Practitioners Program.

As a team member at Cadesky Tax, you will find yourself immersed in a unique, tax focused, professional environment where growth, education, quality of life and impeccable client service are priorities each and every day.
